Augusta - 11th Hole

This Limited Edition of 850 Canvas Prints by Linda Hartough features 'White Dogwood', the 11th hole at AUGUSTA NATIONAL - 455 yards - Par 4. This painting is one of five commisioned for the ABC golf television special 'The most dramatic holes in golf ' hosted by Jack Nicklaus. In 1957 Herbett warren wind coined the term Amen corner to describe the famous view of the 11th hole the short 12th and the first half of the 13th borrowinfg the name jazz recording 'Shouting at the Amen corner.' His expression caught on perhaps because as Dave Marr once suggested 'If you get through thesse three holes even par you believe a bit more in God'.
